QC for Academics & Researchers

QC offers its consultative views, input and stance in relation to such emerging DPP subjects, which intersect with technological convergence. It has strong interest to further research on how these technologies are DPP friendly and compliant. QC research interest covers all aspects of DPP that academics and researchers may be able to collaborate with. It does not focus and emphasise on law only, but very much keen to interdisciplinary research approach that covers Malaysian, ASEAN and ASIA.

QC for Construction

QC offers the leading role to recommend best practices of data control, handling, transfer and retention when there is an interaction and engagement between and amongst the construction companies. This ranges from the nature of its contracting, subcontracting as well as other modes of contractual arrangements in the construction industry. QC’s comprehensive 6 offerings are also able to answer such DPP problems especially when it involves multilayered of contractual parties of such project sizes.

QC for Financial

QC combines the 6 offerings together with consultative role in the Malaysian Credit Reporting Agencies Act (CRAA) 2010. In addition to the regulated financial industry, QC adds the value by providing comprehensive consulting approach through gap analysis and mapping of the PDPA 7 data protection principles. This is achieved through integrated understanding of the banks’ operations, systems, risk management as well as the internal controls within the offline and online environment.

QC for Healthcare

QC leading forte, amongst others, is on data security, data handling and data integrity consultation based on the Malaysian PDPA’s 7 data protection principles. For local and international healthcare providers who are keen to gauge QC’s consultative role, QC also offers the tailor made Terms Of Reference (TOR) that are required by the providers. QC for Oil & Gas

QC leads the 6 offerings for the Oil & Gas companies, which require an independent PDPA 2010 assessment, besides the existing ISO controls and processes that are in place. The primary consultative approach is through QC’s Data Diagnosis and Privacy Impact Assessment of the companies’ controls, processes, policies and special operating procedures relating to data and documentation.
